Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. — Matthew 9:36-38

As we enter into the healing rhythms of Jesus, we enter into the healing mission of Jesus. 

In these Gospel stories, Jesus invites people to be healed and to join his healing mission. At City of Light, we want to live in the healing rhythms of Jesus so we can be a healing church for our hurting neighbors. That’s why this year, we are asking Jesus to equip us for the healing mission of Jesus.
