  \nLeah Mitchell is a member of City of Light and a painter of allegorica
 l portraits and narrative figures. Her work uses symbolism and a sense of 
 humor to look at ideals of feminine beauty\, and constructions of female v
 alue that are reflected in western art history\, pop culture\, and Christi
 an iconography. She has a bachelors degree in History and a Masters of Fin
 e arts in Painting. She lives and works in the suburbs of Chicago with her
  husband\, three children and several small winged dinosaurs. Find out mor
